Wise County Public Schools is requesting bids for the Reroofing of Coeburn Middle School. Scope includes reroofing over the existing roof of the entire school and the replacement of all perimeter facia and coping. There is also a section of total roof replacement.
All bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope or package clearly marked “Bid for Reroofing of Coeburn Middle School in Coeburn, Virginia”. Sealed bids will be received at Wise County Public Schools located at 628 Lake Street NE, Wise, Virginia 24293 before 2:00 PM on February 10, 2022. Bids will be opened and publicly read on February 10, 2022, at 2:00 PM.
A Pre-Bid Conference will be held on February 1, 2022, at 1:00 PM at the front entrance of Coeburn Middle School located at 518 Centre Avenue, Coeburn, Virginia. Site tours of Coeburn Middle School will follow.
Bidders must be licensed as a Class A contractor in the State of Virginia. A bid bond in the amount of 5% is required. The Contractor, in performance of this contract, shall comply with all applicable Equal Opportunity requirements. MBE/WBE firms are encouraged to submit bids. Bidders must certify that they do not or will not maintain or provide for their employees any facilities that are segregated on the basis of race, color, creed, or national origin.
